Safety course notes

System Safety Fundamentals Concept Cloud

I have finally got around to putting my safety course notes up, enjoy. You can also find them off the main menu.

Feel free to read and use under the terms of the associated creative commons license. I’d note that these are course notes so I use a large amount of example material from other sources (because hey, a good example is a good example right?) and where I have a source these are acknowledged in the notes. If you think I’ve missed a citation or made an error, then let me know.

    Hi Matthew,

Thanks for sharing the course with us. Very generous indeed. I’ve only had the chance to run through some of the first section but it is very well put together and really good, tangible examples to illustrate the points being made.

    Well done and thanks again.

Thanks, that is a very useful for my professional user interaction tasks. Do you plan to make it more detailed in future, maybe in some form of a ebook or anything else?

Yes, I do have a book in the works. Working title ‘A field guide to system safety’. 🙂
